The News-Review settling in

Posted by Fleet News Service on August 12, 2007

Please excuse the dust around Celestra as of late. This reporter has been busy coordinating the renovations of both the News-Review and lower decks to accommodate the newly appointed President of the Colonies. So please bear with this reporter, my news for you is somewhat limited. My associate Dean is picking up my slack quite well and I had heard there is another reporter among the survivors. We look forward to having her reporting in shortly.

On a little bit of news…well praise mainly…their reporter would like to thank all the men and women of the Pacifica for their bravery and sacrifice. I heard reports of many heroic acts done to save the fleet. Like those of Captain Allen (Pacifica’s Chief Engineer), who selflessly disabled an overheating reactor which prevented further catastrophic failures or even damage while taking a serious electric shock when she did. But that is only one story of many. Many of which this reporter wishes to hear.

If you know of a brave deed that was done during the attack…please let me know. Now more than ever do we need to put a face on humanity. Not much of it left.
